golf course, but a welcome chance to take a breath and regroup before
heading into the monster par 5, 17th. This hole will play to its
entire listed yardage. Find your yardage and trust your club
selection from the tee box. From the back tees, a force carry over

Hole #17
 |
Par 5
Handicap #6 |
This hole will take everything you have
in your bag. A good drive will leave you with a risk/reward second
shot to the green. The desert awaits missed tee shots to the right. A
large landing area will give you a chance to reach the green. Don't
play past your ability. The bunkers are only in play if you are
trying to trick the golf course. A good second shot to the large
landing area will set you up for a short-iron approach shot. Don't
be short on this elevated green, a short shot will roll back and leave you
with a blind chip shot to the green. |

Hole #18
 |
Par 3
Handicap #18 |
The right club selection on this
finishing hole will leave you with a chance for par or better. All
the trouble is long and behind the green. A small collection area
will save short tee shots. 1,500 gallons of water a minute will
follow you down to the hole in the visually stunning water feature.
this hole looks harder than it is - don't let the water feature scare you
from making a good swing. |
